Program Description
Poetry assemblies are based on Greenberg's superbly-reviewed poetry books (Slugs, Bugs!, Skunks!, Snakes!, Crocs!, Don't Forget Your Etiquette, Enchanted Lions, among others). These assemblies are fun, funny, inspirational. They emphasize the qualities that make writing effective and reinforce the writing academics imparted in the classroom. Children depart saying "I want to be a writer when I grow up!"
