Dance: Virtual Break Dance or Hip Hop Dance Workshops

Explore the history, culture and contribution of Hip Hop music and dance. This workshop combines different styles of power moves and may include popping, locking, breaking and bboy. The music is energizing and appropriate for the age group. The students will be introduced to the art of storytelling using their dancing to communicate their ideas and feelings to their audience. They will understand how to translate their dancing in society as a vehicle for inspiration, with the ultimate goal of making a positive impact in their community. Programs are available for special education and english language learners.
