Program Description
Treehouse Shakers' Staff Developments are for administrators, teachers (including special educators) and paraprofessionals. Designed to enhance learning through the arts, regardless of discipline, our staff developments focus on using creative drama, writing, music, dance or storytelling in the classroom. Treehouse Shakers also has developed artistic programming that speaks directly to the needs of young people on the ASD spectrum, LGBTQIA+ youth and young people struggling with anxiety. Our staff development facilitator leads participants through a dynamic and unique learning experience, giving arts in education lessons and hands-on tools, which can be applied easily to the classroom. Reference handout included. Can be in person or vitual.
