Program Description
Students learn how our eyes perceive light. Experiments show how light can be reflected, refracted and filtered through lenses, prisms, and spectrometers. Students make a thaumatrope to take home. NGSS Learning Standards: 1-PS4-2, 1-PS4-3; 4-PS4-2, 4-LS1-1, 4-LS1-2; 5-PS1-3; MS-PS4-2 NGSS Learning Standards: 1-PS4-2, 1-PS4-3; 4-PS4-2, 4-LS1-1, 4-LS1-2; 5-PS1-3; MS-PS4-2 Center Visit:(1 1/2 hr) $13 per student Max: 50 students
