Program Description
Would you like to get your students excited about reading and writing? My online author visits are high-energy, engaging, educational, and, above all, fun! Your students will have so much fun laughing, they will come away with a newfound desire to put pencil to paper and visit the library. In each 45-minute program (over Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc.) I will share a few hilarious poems, show why I became an author, work with your students to create a brand new poem based entirely on their ideas, and give them time to ask whatever they would like to know about authors, books, and writing. Includes: * 15-20 minute presentation * 15-20 minutes of collaborative writing with students * 5-10 minutes of Q&A
