Program Description
Playing to Write builds skills in stimulating students' imaginations to cultivate original writing ideas and ways of organizing those ideas. Using adjectives for detail, explore character motivation behind conflict and problem-solving techniques. Common Core Standards for ELA addressed. This workshop uses the tools of the actor as a means of communication and storytelling, and models effective ways of using drama in the classroom setting.
