Program Description
Big Ideas about Bullying is a peace-provoking concert that teaches students to deal with a bully, bullies and bullying non-violently. Are conflicts necessarily solved by fighting? Cooperation, understanding and communication are the key. Audience participation may include: sing-along, sign language, movement, problem solving and critical thinking. Some "guest-starring" onstage. Total fun while conveying important messages. Like most of Patricia's programs, this shows a commitment to equity and inclusion through culturally responsive and socially just engagement with diverse audiences. Songwriting workshops and writing and performing a musical residency also offered. Award-winning singer-songwriter, recording artist, TV personality and author, Patricia Shih. Cost is based on the number of shows and musicians.
