Program Description
A brief age-adaptable history of mosaics using visuals of contemporary works and photos of ancient mosaics taken by the instructor during her trips to Europe and Asia. Students take part in a hands-on workshop to create a mural, sign, bench or stepping stones for the school. The instructor provides a wide variety of materials including porcelain tile, ceramic findings, glass and stones to create unique, original works of art. Installation included.
