Program Description
Explore the states of matter in a creative lab setting. Presentation allows students to differentiate between solids, liquids and gases. Students make polymer “Phlubber”. Experimentation culminates in the production of a particularly tasty crystallized concoction, better known as ice cream. This program has a supplemental fee. Visit to your site is $360 for the first session and $320 for each additional. A visit to the Science Center with this program is $15 per student. NGSS Learning Standards: P-PS1-1; K-PS1-1; 2-PS1-1, 2-PS1-4; 5-PS1-1, 5-PS1-3, 5-PS1-4; MS-PS1-1, MS-PS1-4, MS-PS1-8, MS-PS1-2, MS-PS1-6 (on-site $16/student)
