Program Description
The Walking tour is a guided exploration of the Original Settlement in Setauket. Students can learn about the history of the Culper Spy Ring and the founding of the town of Brookhaven. While visiting the area, students are encouraged to ask questions to learn about the Culper Spy Ring and the Original Settlement to see how it is different from what the area is today. Students are also encouraged to think and share their thoughts about their own community’s connection between the past and present.
