The elevatEd Classroom provides interactive, differentiated, SEL and mindfulness push-in workshops for elementary schools. Led by veteran educators with 20+ years of experience, a MSEd in Transformative Teaching and Learning and experts in the field of mindfulness. Key Student Learning Objectives: • Self-Regulation: Understand nervous system stress responses; apply breathwork and mindfulness tools to regulate emotions and refocus attention (NYS SEL Goal 1, Ed Law § 804). • Conflict & Decision-making: Differentiate everyday peer conflict from bullying; practice making positive choices and improve problem-solving skills (NYS SEL Goal 2, DASA). • Empathy & Inclusion: Develop empathy and respect for diverse perspectives to foster a supportive school climate (NYS SEL Goal 3, CR-S Framework). Sessions model techniques for classroom teachers and include turnkey post-workshop strategies for lasting daily carryover. Deepen the impact: Add a kick-off elevatEd Assembly.
