JA High School Heroes is a dynamic leadership and service-learning program that empowers high school students in grades 9–12 to become role models, educators, and community leaders. Through training and hands-on teaching experience, students develop critical workforce and leadership skills while delivering engaging lessons on financial literacy and work readiness to local elementary school students. This option is designed for schools or districts that plan to engage fewer than 20-40 high school students to teach 10-14 elementary school classrooms. Pricing is based on the number of elementary school classes served. Before entering elementary classrooms, participating high school students complete leadership training that prepares them to successfully facilitate JA programs and serve as positive mentors. Through this experience, students build valuable skills in: • Financial literacy fundamentals • Leadership development • Public speaking and presentation skills • Communication and relationship building • Teamwork and collaboration • Classroom management • Program facilitation and lesson delivery
