Forgotten Skillz: Miracle Mile Eco-Study transforms school grounds or other appropriate outdoor settings into living laboratories where students investigate ecology through structured observation, inquiry, and discovery. Experiences may include identifying native and invasive species, examining habitats, wildlife signs, pollinators, edible and useful plants, seasonal change, environmental stewardship, journaling, mapping, and scientific observation while connecting science, environmental studies, geography, and local history. Programs are customized to support grade level, curriculum, local environments, and instructional goals. Experiences can be scaled to fit condensed class periods, standard sessions, double blocks, or multi-day investigations. Designed for active, hands-on classroom groups, programs can also accommodate larger class sizes or multiple classroom rotations with advance planning.
