At Brookhaven Lab, researchers develop longer-lasting, faster-charging batteries. Students will learn about the science behind building better batteries with an introduction to atoms, molecules, and chemical reactions. Then, they’ll design and perform an experiment that tests the properties of metals and electrolytes for their potential as conductors in a wet cell battery. **AGREEMENT TO TERMS needs to be signed by an authorized District representative and on file to process any Contract requests submitted to AIE. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS, REQUESTS WILL BE CANCELLED WITHOUT AGREEMENT TO TERMS ON FILE WITH AIE. **The Technical Services Agreement needs to be made available to teachers who participate in BNL programs.
