Program Description
Big Ideas about the Environment with Patricia Shih. A sumptuous musical feast about the environment, ecology, climate change and nature that asks the audience, "What can each one of us do to help make the world a cleaner, safer place for all living things?" Includes compassion for other species and caring for others and ourselves. Audience participation may include: sing-along, sign language, movement, problem solving and critical thinking. Some "guest-starring" onstage. Total fun while conveying important messages.Like most of Patricia's programs, this shows a commitment to equity and inclusion through culturally responsive and socially just engagement with diverse audiences. Workshops and residencies on topic are also offered. Songwriting workshops and student-written and performance of musical residency are also offered. Award-winning singer-songwriter, recording artist, TV personality and author, Patricia Shih. Cost is based on the number of shows and musicians.
