Program Description
Sharing her passion for the power and pleasure of words, Schotter encourages children to turn their own ideas, events and feelings into stories. To emphasize the value of rewriting, she shows her messy notebooks and drafts. With informal exercises, she demonstrates how writing can be easy and fun. Award-winning author of 30 books, including "Nothing Ever Happens on 90th Street," "The Boy Who Loved Words," "Mama, I'll Give You the World," "F is For Freedom" and her latest-- "All About Grandmas" and "Go, Little Green Truck!"
