Brookhaven National Lab - Encryption Cyber Security **Agreement to Terms must be on file to process BNL Requests

Presented by Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC

Brookhaven National Lab takes all safety very seriously, and that includes cyber security! In this lesson, students will learn about simple encryption and decryption of text files using a short Python program. They will first try to decrypt a message by hand and then compare that with decrypting it by code. Then using their new skills, they will move on to decrypt a more challenging message. No coding knowledge is needed to enjoy this experience! **AGREEMENT TO TERMS needs to be signed by an authorized District representative and on file to process any Contract requests submitted to AIE. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS, REQUESTS WILL BE CANCELLED WITHOUT AGREEMENT TO TERMS ON FILE WITH AIE. **The Technical Services Agreement needs to be made available to teachers who participate in BNL programs.
