Program Description
Get kids curious about multiculturalism and diversity with Curious George! In this engaging and interactive in-person program featuring everyone’s favorite monkey, author Maria Wen Adcock teaches children about Chinese culture through the traditions mentioned in her book, It’s Chinese New Year, Curious George. The author provides in-depth, kid-friendly information about the symbolism of each tradition, cultivating into an uplifting, high-energy, and celebratory event children will remember. The author will provide free digital printables (coloring sheets and worksheets related to the book) that teachers can use with their students in their class after the presentation. Stay curious!
