Program Description
Students create individual ceramic sculptures, pottery wheel pieces and hand built projects, student’s glaze their work in glaze’s provided and join together for a one or day workshop where the students build a space age kiln and help fire their work. The workshop will culminate in the creation of one of a kind pieces of art with iridescent and crackle finishes. Your workshop presenter will discuss the history of japanese art through clay and demonstrate the potters wheel. This is a great team building workshop. Grades 6 through 12 participant 💯 and younger grades will have their work fired by the instructor with some participation. School district is responsible for providing clay.
