Program Description
In this workshop students will make use of the Art League’s state of the art metalsmithing studio to create brass keyrings. Students will learn how to use fundamental metalsmithing tools such as pliers, chasing hammers, flexible shaft and tumbler polishers. This project offers design and skillbuilding opportunities as students will learn to hammer texture into their metal while strengthening their material. This beginner-friendly project affords students a chance to create a take home project in a professional studio setting utilizing all of the tools metalsmiths commonly use.
