Program Description
AVAILABLE NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2024 **Access to this virtual program, along with its study guide, will be provided for a period of 2 weeks.** "A Season Of Miracles” is a sparkling collection of holiday tales from different cultures including Christmas, Kwanzaa and Chanukah. Stories within the play are “Gift of the Magi,” “The Nutcracker,” “The Kwanzaa Kite” and “A Chanukah Miracle.” Crafted and set to music with the timeless tone of each classic tale, this magical presentation will warm the hearts of young audiences as they experience the joy and spirit of the holiday season. As for miracles, they are the gift of love, kindness and generosity that are at the heart of each story. A true multi-cultural celebration of the holiday season! In both casting practices and subject matter, Pushcart Players provides a welcoming and affirming environment. Teaching artists and performers reflect the diversity of our constituents, providing identification and a natural significance to these young learners. Subject matter addresses a broad range of inclusive curriculum: history, literature, world-culture, social emotional learning, values clarification, civics, anti-racism, and anti-bullying. With all in-person performances, assessment occurs with a post-production question and answer session.
