Program Description
We provide author visits with the characters from The Real Life Adventures of Jo Jo Bean book series and Twisty Tina Tales for your classroom/school assembly or event. These interactive 45-minute visits include: 1) Read aloud of one of the books in the series on your preferred platform 2) Discussion of book theme topic 3) Interactive discussion, games and music. Our assembly is geared for students in grades Pre-K through 3. Our author visits aim to encourage students to read by: - motivating and exciting children to read - assisting students in making connections between the book and real life - assisting in improving reading comprehension, vocabulary, and language patterns. Our performance is based on one of six books written by the author ranging from healthy eating, safety, responsibility, to compassion for others. Through the visits, students will learn the importance of making good decisions and social awareness.
