Program Description
In this VIRTUAL Yoga assembly, students will be guided through age appropriate teachings of Yoga, its meaning and source, deep breathing and mindfulness, as well as Yogic exercises (asanas). The values of quiet, cooperation, unity, respect for others, joy, and physical activity will be explored and full participation from the students will leave them invigorated and imbued with a greater sense of community, peacefulness and well being. Using our Virtual platform , ZOOM, each grade is given detailed instruction and is led through their virtual lesson for approximately 40 minutes. Some classes or grades can be combined to accommodate varying grade sizes and/or school schedules. We recommend using a large screen monitor for large groups with a capable two way camera and strong audio output.
