Program Description
Really fun and information-packed! World cultures come alive with exotic instruments from around the globe - Giant drums, crystal singing bowls, Australian didgeridoos, Chinese gongs, Native American flutes and chants, Aztec wind whistle, Scottish Bagpipes, and much more! Children learn about nature and the environment, and discover new ways to make musical sounds. And with the virtual environment, they can see close-up images of the instruments and post questions. Cultural tie-ins include: History, Geography, Writing, Art, Math, Sciences. Special programs for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter Solstice, Earth Day and St. Patrick’s Day.
