Newly re-worked for virtual learning! Interactive interdisciplinary workshops, based on fourth grade curriculum. Students are immersed in Woodland Indian life via the arts. Workshops include: museum of beadwork, baskets, cradleboard, clothing, stone tools, hides, and virtual interactive longhouse tour; traditional game and stories; Iroquois government where students make decisions based on traditional Haudenosaunee teachings and principles; symbol art project. Aligns with NYS art anchor standard 11. Aligns with NYS CR-S Framework by affirming cultural differences among groups as an asset and encouraging all students to connect with cultural voices different than their own. Price includes video presentations and live/virtual workshops for a full cultural immersion experience.
