Program Description
Students of all ages and capabilities can learn techniques of clowning and physical comedy. Clowning promotes physical education, gross motor skills, improved hand/eye coordination and addresses social/emotional developmental strategies. Skills learned include juggling, balancing, tumbling, comedy, games, mime, improvisation and role play. Students are introduced to the different types of clown characters: boss clown, sad clown, silly clown. Virtual programs will utilize everyday objects and can be adapted for special education.
