Join a DINOSAURS ROCK expert for this exploration of the insect world, with the backdrop of a Museum exhibit filled with unusual insects (taxidermy under glass or acrylic) and an accompanying keynote. Students will learn about prehistoric insects, insect life cycles and anatomy, how a fly flies, metamorphosis and much more through viewing exhibit specimens up-close and visual wonder such as metamorphosis. Hands-on! Every student takes home a plastic insect and can do insect rubbing plate art and we offer optional add-on class activities like Amber Discovery (polishing real amber).
