Program Description
Insects and their relatives are among the most prevalent creatures on our planet. This program offers engaging hands-on activities, occasional costumes and encounters with both live and mounted specimens to educate children about the distinct characteristics that set insects apart. We'll explore the crucial role they play in ecosystems and their significance to both humanity and the natural world. With a diverse array of species showcased, students will discover the remarkable variety that insects encompass. Get ready to observe a functioning beehive, a fascinating glimpse into the world of pollinators and their essential role. In addition, participants will have the chance to meet at least one insect predator, providing insight into the complex interactions within nature's intricate web.
