Program Description
Circus-themed, elementary character education school assembly teaching we are all different and we are all the same in a welcoming and affirming environment! Explanation of Topics Covered: Fair, Aware, Include, Respect • Differences in the cultural aspects of people, including food, music, clothing • Not guessing about others based on the way they look, dress, or act • Thinking of others before you think of yourself (Social-Emotional Learning) • Martin Luther King Jr.'s message to the world • Aesop's fables and a lesson in treating others the way one would want to be treated themselves, respect This is a pre-recorded Diversity Circus school assembly delivered via Youtube. There is also a question guide that may be used by classroom teachers for a discussion following the video. Diversity Circus is also a graphic novel with puzzles, games, magic tricks, and more.
