Program Description
Dan Yaccarino is author/illustrator of dozens of books for children, the creator/producer of Apple TV's Doug Unplugs, Nickelodeon's Oswald and NBC's Willa's Wild Life, as well as the designer behind Nickelodeon's The Backyardigans. Using slides and animation, Dan demonstrates how he creates books from simple ideas. He shows students how he constructs stories, illustrates images to support the story and how it all comes together into a single book. He shows how he creates characters as well as his animatd series.
