Program Description
We provide author visits with the characters from The Real Life Adventures of Jo Jo Bean book series for your classroom/school assembly or event. The assemblies are based on our diverse collection of children's books that teach life lessons and habits for ages 3 to 8. These interactive 45-minute visits include: - Read aloud of one of the books in the series of your choice. - Discussion of book theme topic - Interactive game/activity and music that ties into the book's lesson. - Photo ops with author and character(s) - Student giveaways The books are lexiled for students in grades Kindergarten through 2nd. Our assembly is beneficial for students in Pre-K through 2. Our author visits aim to encourage students to read by: - motivating and exciting children to read - assisting students in making connections between the book and real life - assisting in improving reading comprehension, vocabulary, and language patterns.
