Program Description
Enter the Orchestra Long Island Quintet's world of magical music as the players, representing all the families of the orchestra, demonstrate their instruments and perform selections from The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Harry Potter, The Firebird, Swan Lake, The Wizard of Oz and more. Students will learn how composers create images of witchcraft and sorcery and about music, often based on literature. Study materials included. *Cost Details: String Quartet-$3,140; Quintet-$3,750.
