Program Description
One class, one day or one week program of Aqua Zumba! Students move and enjoy physical activity, set to latin and pop music, in aquatic environment. Teachers must place students in pool in accordance to the NYS standards of safety and social distance. Miss Jeanine will be out of the pool for the entire class. Benefits: 1. The water is a tool to increase the aerobic and muscular fitness level of student. 2. Provides basic understanding of physiology, biomechanics and functional principals to exercise in water. 3. Fun environment for students of ALL fitness levels. Miss Jeanine is certified to teach Aqua Zumba developed with Beto Perez with Mimi Rodriguez Adami-AEA Aquatic Trainer Specialist, certified by ACSM, AFAA and author of Aqua Fitness: Low Impact Total Body Fitness Workout. ***Please note Aqua Zumba can only be taught in 3.5' and 4' of water and instructor must have Physical Education teachers present during class. A brief explanation, history and demonstration will precede the Aqua Zumba workout class.
