Program Description
As an author, illustrator, graphic designer, webmaster, and publisher, I am responsible for every discipline necessary to create a book. Through a series of age-specific presentations designed to suit children of every grade level, I educate on where ideas come from, how a story is written, how illustrations are created, obstacles authors face, and eventually how all the pieces are put together. From simple kindergarten programs that focus on what an author and an illustrator do, all the way up to detailed middle school sessions that discuss story arcs, character development, and the business of writing, every student will get the exact amount of information to help them want to create books of their own!
