Program Description
SEPTEMBER 2022-JUNE 2023 **PRICING: Please note that the Virtual Classroom costs $200 PER GRADE within the same school!!! For example, should a school want this program for their 4th & 5th graders, the cost would be $400.*** **This program is split into FOUR 15 minute segments. There is a lesson plan that goes along with each segment, as well as our study guide.** **Access will be granted for a period of 4 weeks. An extension of 2 weeks is available upon request.** A musical that captivates the spirit, action, and causes of the United States founders as they formulated the Constitution. Presented in story form and brimming with song, dance, drama, and humor, "A More Perfect Union" personalizes the workings of history by following four representative characters -- Benjamin, Rebecca, Luke, and Abby -- who bring us to the center of many key episodes. In both casting practices and subject matter, Pushcart Players provides a welcoming and affirming environment. Teaching artists and performers reflect the diversity of our constituents, providing identification and a natural significance to these young learners. Subject matter addresses a broad range of inclusive curriculum: history, literature, world-culture, social emotional learning, values clarification, civics, anti-racism, and anti-bullying. With all in-person performances, assessment occurs with a post-production question and answer session.
