Program Description
Experiential SEL workshop that provides understanding of how trauma affects us and how you can use your personal experiences with trauma or toxic stress to empathize with the youth and your colleagues, to build bridges of compassion that in turn facilitate the development of trauma sensitive environments that foster learning for the whole child and the potential for them to thrive as educators. Using storytelling, and dance, using SEL but with a higher focus on understanding trauma and how it effects the mind for adults and students Great for areas where students experience high trauma.
