Program Description
Bren's mural residencies are typically a week long. Using students' drawings and designs inspires painted murals for the walls. The student illustrations become part of the school's history/legacy. Bren's residencies include a presentation about his 17-year-long street art project. He has given away over 3,000 paintings with a note saying, "This painting is yours if you promise to smile at random people more often," in about 80 different countries and in all 50 states. Bren's presentation is an effective way to teach kids the power of kindness through art.
