Program Description
Developed between an art teacher and a wildlife biologist, this exciting new program brings in LIVE ANIMALS into an art classroom for students to get up close and personal with these creatures. The art teacher decides which art medium to utilize, but we have seen fine arts, sketching, video, photography, clay sculpture, and more be used successfully. Students learn about the live animal, its habitat, habits, and conservation status. We also observe its movements, behavior, and more. Let's get creative with wildlife and let nature inspire our art!
