Diversity Circus uses audience participation, comedy, kooky characters, costumes, magical illusions, and non-stop hysterical action to engage students in a welcoming and affirming environment. A lion, a mouse, and a giant chicken teach the lessons led by Smudgy the Clown and the ringmaster sidekick. Students identify with Smudgy as comic relief during this four-act circus. On-stage participation encourages student leadership opportunities. One student becomes the World’s Strongest Kid, another partially invisible! Two more magically transform while dressed up and acting on stage.
