Program Description
LIVE, PRE-RECORDED AND VIRTUAL WITH NARRATOR. An exciting program of Brazilian and African dances, music and song from Arts Horizons. This performance features Capoeira, a dance genre developed by Africans and brought to Brazil through slaves over 400 years ago. It incorporates the speed and agility of martial arts, dancing and acrobatics while teaching a philosophy of resolving conflict without the use of force. Workshops available following the program.
