Mr. Nicky is an accomplished songwriter and educator who brings a fresh approach to teaching middle school social studies by using song and parody. In his workshops and assemblies, he guides the students in writing their own world history parodies. It’s a great way for them to recall and review the year’s lessons. Students create a fun tool for remembering the content they’ve studied, and they also learn quite a bit about the songwriting process.
