Program Description
Schools Partnering with the Art (SPA) provides opportunities for school districts to participate in district supported professional development with in-service credit. Programs in the arts can help teachers to renew, recharge, and replenish their artistic teaching talents by providing specialized instruction time with master artists and certified art educators. Professional development workshops can include a variety of media, including painting and drawing, ceramics, printmaking, graphic design, jewelry making, sculpture, and more. In addition to designated teacher development days, districts will have the opportunity to schedule professional development workshops customized to their individual needs and interests. Program takes place on Zoom, or the ideal platform for your district. Length of individualized programs vary from one, two, or three day workshops. 3-hour custom workshop starts at $300. $65 per attendee over 5.
