Program Description
Explore Native American art and culture. The goal of this program is to engage students in the deeper understanding and creation of the most basic form of Native American ceramics. While exploring hand building clay techniques, students will also learn about native symbolism and animal totems. Each student will create their own personal clay pinch pot to take home. A display of Native artwork and instruments are also utilized as teaching resources during the program.
