Are your students reluctant writers when it comes to non-fiction topics? Use these unique, yet easy and fun writing and art methods of cutting paper objects, draw and folding, or creating tangram objects to get them writing! Your students will learn how to use these creative writing and art methods to demonstrate their understanding of a concept related to science, social studies, literature, or a vocabulary term. Students can create their own personal narrative relating to these subjects! OR - This program can be for "Teachers Only." If you are interested in a cross curriculum creative writing program for a Teacher In-Service Meeting, this presentation is the one for your school! Valerie will discuss ways to incorporate creative writing into all discipline areas and all grade levels.
