Program Description
This artist in residence program uses Puppetry to introduce students to science. This interdisciplinary Arts integration program also incorporates, Literacy learning, Social and Emotional skills, Puppet theater, music and visual arts. Students learn three basics of science; Physical Science, Earth Science and Space Science. Students learn the scientific Method for experiments. In addition students create their own puppets as reinforcement activity to perform skits, and work in collaboration.
