Poetry In Action 1 - Taking students through the poetry writing process: Engaging students with poetic expression. Highlight poetic devices. 2 - Modeling the poet’s process of writing creatively with students. 3 - Students will create a draft of their poetry and share their early drafts and receive feedback. 4 - Students will present their own poetry. It reinforces the writing process, planning, critical thinking, drama, and self-confidence.
