Program Description
Are your students prepared for their college essays? The college essay is one of the most challenging parts of the college application process because it requires great introspection. What are your gifts? What are your talents? How will college help you with your chosen career? These are just some of the questions that students should ask themselves. During this assembly, Harvard-trained author, attorney, and storyteller Ama Karikari-Yawson will perform her best-selling fable, Sunne's Gift. She will then lead students through an exercise for exploring their own gifts and structuring their college essays to reflect their unique abilities.
