Program Description
In this project, students experience real-life learning while meeting Common Core Standards. At the core is the Tower Garden, a vertical aeroponic gardening system designed for indoor growing (included in program pricing). There is a huge problem-solving component from the moment students are introduced to the Tower Garden. The project begins with a box. Your students, by working together using STEM principles, turn the box into a living Tower Garden. And that’s just the beginning! As the project blossoms, students incorporate science, math, ELA, social studies, current societal issues, technology, the use of various computer software programs, family consumer science, and the understanding of the importance of healthy eating skills.
