Program Description
Engage students in the fascinating world of raptors, through hands-on activities, detailed discussions, and live birds of prey. Participants will explore the unique adaptations that make raptors effective hunters, differentiate between various types of raptors, and compare raptors to other bird species. This program also touches on the importance of raptors in the ecosystem, and common issues the birds face on Long Island.
