Program Description
Through the use of a taped voice-over, slides, sound effects and costume changes, Helen's compelling story is vividly brought to life from her early childhood through her adulthood to show children how she was able to overcome her disabilities and lead a very fulfilling life. This extraordinary 45-minute portrayal includes a Q&A period as well as an opportunity for the children to touch a Braille Book. Making students aware of people with disabilities and talking about inclusion are strong messages in this program
